Finished up the garden this month and pulled all the rest of the veggies and trimmed dead flowers. Did a few more veggie giveaways with the last hundred pounds or so of tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers.
Got in a large chip drop pile and used it to bury the beds for the season. I put down cardboard and then piled the chip mulch on top of it. This helps to keep weeds and such from growing. Planted a fall crop of cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, bunching onions, and regular onions. They were growing great and then suddenly fall ended and winter hit it mid-October. That put all of the seedlings into a holding period.
